Well It is now 2005... although it doesn't really feel like it's the "new year" perhaps because my New Year's Eve was spent in San Francisco where it was raining like a mo fo and there was no count down to ring in the end of 2004. So yes, that is where I was, San Jose/San Francisco. I spent New year's weekend there at a friend's house. Besides the shitload of rain, some other memories i left with was: Cranium, Using female pop artists' songs in daily speech, porn, "Eat My Pussy", Valley Fair Mall, and the Mystery Spot. All in all, my new years wasn't all that great, but at least I actually did something, which is more than i can say for the previous years (except last).

So yeah, 2004... wow, it went by pretty quick. I was suppose to have rang in the new year in nyc, but due to the fact that I didnt have money to pay for a hotel room for seven days, at $150/night, those plans fell through. And it sux cuz it was my idea to go and my friends are the ones who are ending up going instead, although i guess i could still go. but i dunno, it'll cut into my new semester in school and plus i just got hired at a new job and it wouldn't be appropriate to already ask for time off.
Speaking of jobs, it's true, i quit American Eagle? Why? Well, because I was being treated unfairly and was way underpaid. so I stayed through the holiday season and quit on new year's eve. Ive been wanting to quit for so long too!!! So I finally feel free!!!
2004 also marked my experience with being a college student. It's actually not as bad as i thought it would be. everything is so much more chill in college. i can walk in late to class and not have to worry about showing my professor a late pass or if I feel like staying home, I wont have to be scared to come into school the next day with some kind of excuse. The campus is ok i guess, and i thought there would seriously be more hot guys there, but oh well, can't have it all i guess. And the whole freshman 15 thing, SOOOO did not happen to me, i think i loss weight instead of gaining.
"Ethan Mao" premiered in November of 2004 which was really exciting for me. I had pictures taken of me, participate in interviews.... it was quite overwhelming but a great experience. The movie itself for me was OK, I felt that it could have been better and that some of the dialogue was a bit cheesy at some points, but overall I'm proud to have been able to work with wonderful talented people. It premiered at the AFI Film Fest which was such an honor seeing how movies like, "Monster" and "House of Sand Fog" premiered at this festival as well. It got mix reviews here in the states, but over in Hong Kong I heard it did very well. I dunno what's going to happen next for "Ethan Mao", prolly more festivals throughout the year. As for me, this movie has yet to help further my acting career. So i know i gotta keep working hard at my acting skills.
Graduating OCHSA, wow, i had tears at the ceremony and it was such a big accomplishment looking back on my high school years, how quickly it went by. Knowing that i won't ever see most of these people ever again, even those I didn't know or liked, still made me sad, weird i know... but it definitely was a relief knowing that I didn't have to wake up every morning going to school 5 times a week and having to deal with all the drama one deals with while in high school. Although looking back, I do miss the routine sometimes, but not enough to make me want to go back. 2004 was really a busy year, i guess that's why it went by so quickly. Everything happened so quickly ya know... Graduating high school, turning 18, getting my driver's licensed, attending college, the "Ethan Mao" premiere.... wow. I'm anxious to see what 2005 has instored for me.
